Calibration path
Calibrate a new filament in a deliberate order
A material route becomes repeatable when each calibration step changes one part of the process and the chosen result is saved with the filament profile.
Begin with the selected spool profile
The manufacturer profile gives the initial material settings. Use it with the printer’s current hardware configuration before introducing a custom calibration result.
Change one calibration lever at a time
Temperature, flow ratio, pressure advance, retraction, and volumetric speed each affect a different failure pattern. Separate the tests so the chosen value has a clear reason.
Save the result with the material route
Record the selected spool, printer, nozzle, and profile result together. The useful outcome is a repeatable path for the next functional part, not a one-time number.
