Generation
Plan solar production by month, not one annual sun number
Use a location-aware production model for early planning, then treat its monthly result as a range. Roof angle, shade, dirt, temperature, parking direction, and weather all affect the actual harvest.
Decision 01
Use location data transparently
Show the climate data source, station distance, model version, orientation, tilt, and loss assumptions alongside every estimate.
Decision 02
Design for the limiting period
For a mobile or seasonal setup, the critical period is the trip or month when load is highest relative to expected generation, not the annual average.
Decision 03
Keep a backup decision explicit
If the plan depends on alternator charging, shore power, or a generator, show that dependency clearly instead of describing the system as solar-only.
